Toy Story Story

Toy Story 3 looks like its going to be a smash hit, but have you ever heard the story of Buzz and Woody's greatest accomplishment? it all starts a long time ago, back in the '90's when George Lucas was getting a divorce, Steve Jobs was unwanted by Apple Computers and Toy Story wasn't yet a twinkle in John Lasseter's eye.
George Lucas needed money to get out of his marriage and sold Pixar to Steve Jobs, who was in a downward spiral after having been forced out of Apple Computers. A few years later, Jobs cut a deal with Disney to make Toy Story -- which was a HUGE hit -- and helped to pave the way for his return to Apple Computers which was, by this time, a wreck about to be sold off for parts.
So without Buzz and Woody and the glory they restored to Job's reputation, its unlikely that Apple would have ever brought him back to the fold which would have lead to a world without iPods and iMacs and other Apple goodness.
So thanks, Buzz and Woody! We all really owe you guys!
